Well after some difficulty I was able to book a bus to London. The problem, it leaves at 1o:30pm local time and is almost a 9hr trip.... On the bright side, I don't have to pay for a hostel room tonight and i'll arrive in London by 8am on Friday to have a full day touring the city.
This morning I hiked Arthur's Seat which has incredible views of the city and surrounding countryside. When i have more time I'll post something philosophical, as I warned about in an earlier post...
Cheers,
NPL

Hi Nathan, Were you able to get any sleep on the bus? Hope so, and we hope you find affordable lodging in London. We get the key to Grandma's apartment tomorrow. (Friday)
We love you, Mom & Dad
Congrats on finding a way around paying for lodging for at least one night... though I am not sure that is the most comfortable option.
Enjoy London! I hope the weather is exactly the way it should be... rainy and chilly.
Awaiting the next post...
Sleeping on the road combines the two most essential elements of a European tour: uncomfortable lodging and painfully long transport. I recommend a sleeper train once you hit the continent.
Awaiting the philosophical inklings that London inspired...
