What an experience! I can now die happy... I highly recommend visiting this great event at least once in your life if you can. If you can't attend, buy a lot of beer, get a lot of people and friends together, play good music and the rest will just happen...
So a brief summary, I am still processing it all myself...
The Wiesn (Oktoberfest) has 14 official beer tents that are owned or sponsored by certain famillies and/or breweries. We were in the Hippodrom, which is one of the smaller tents (seating for 3,200 people)and is known as the hip and VIP tent of the festival. Perfect for me...There was a great house band playing all types of music and every 20 mins the band would play "Ein Prosit" so I did a lot of singing. I attended the Wiesn with Mike (a high school classmate of my mother), Agnes (Mike's assistant)and Andre (a friend).
Beer is served in steins called Mass. One Mass is 1 liter. That's a lot of beer.... After a few Mass, you are ready to sing and dance (on the tables too if you'd like), which I did. When in Rome, I mean at the Wiesn...
It is really hard to describe the experience... I hope the pictures give you some more insight into OKTOBERFEST.

You have convinced me I need to go to Oktoberfest once in my life. I think I could do Germany proud.
